Tested the waters

Post by stoneface »

So I was at an unfamiliar bank the other day (Chase bank in FW) to cash an insurance settlement check. I was carrying of course, so I was glad to see they didn't have any kind of anti-gun sign on the door at all. When I got up to the teller, I had to go through the whole routine of fingerprint, ID, firstborn child, etc. since I don't have an account there. The teller asked me for a second form of ID "like a credit or debit card" so I decided to hand her my CHL just to see what would happen. She didn't bat an eye, typed in the info she needed, and handed it back with my money. It was gratifying to see that not everybody is terrified of the thought of armed citizens!
