On that note, can anyone explain why they have signs for "guardrail damage ahead?" If you don't hit it, it's not relevant, and you really shouldn't be planning to hit it whether it's damaged or not.[/quote]

The signs are there to let the TX DOT guys know it's time to start slowing down as they are nearing the jobsite :lol:
