help: SA EMP owners

1. has anyone tried using different magazine other then the 3 that came with the pistol? does anyone know if officer size 38 super will work? (doesnt protrude at the bottom??)

2. what IWB holster do you use? im the market for one and would like some opinions

3. aftermarket grips?

I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time) but I thought the EMP was a scaled down 1911 platform with proprietary parts. What I mean is this...I think the magwell on the EMP frame is shorter front to back than a traditional 1911, so I don't think "protruding from the bottom" would be the only issue.

Anyone?

You are correct.
Standard 1911 mags will not fit even if it is a 9mm mag.

well, that sucks. i guess i'll send SA a check for a few OEM mags then.

and i've narrowed my choices down to 2 holsters, galco summer comfort and Milt Sparks Summer special 2. from the pics posted in the carry thread, i dont think the summer comfort has a body shield, so MSSS2 it is.
