COR-BON 40 S&W 135 gr JHP

Post by old farmer »

Does anyone have experience with COR-BON 40 S&W 135 gr JHP? The company report s:Muzzle Velocity: 1400 fps
Muzzle Energy: 588 ft. lbs, which is better than the famous .45 acp (a .45 get no smaller). The price is about .95 to 1.10 per round.

Thank you, :bigear: :txflag: :patriot:

It's the round the 9mm would like to be, may be the caliber John M. Browning wanted instead of the larger and heavier .45 ACP insisted upon by Army officials, and is on par with the .357 SIG and .357 MAG, although not as accurate as either of those. JMHOANDWHATDOIKNOW

I've used Corbons as a defense load in a .45 before and would swear by them - particularly their 185 grainer stepping out at 1200 fps. It's a heck of a round. That being said, they are a) pricey, and b) not everybody stocks them.

I am also a big, big fan of Corbon ammo. I use the 165, 185 and 200gr+P loads for duty and personal carry in my .45 G21SF.
We also use their .223, 7.62x39 & .308 loads which perform flawlessly. I can attest to their performance--they expand very well in human tissue. Corbon is pricey.... just dont practice with them!
