If any of you are FaceBook members, please consider adding me as a "friend" and joining the TexasCHLforum Group. Unlike MySpace, you have to register to be able to see anything, but here is the link to my site: http://www.facebook.com/people/Charles_ ... 1169017866
Before you ladies start smirking again and question my motives, I'll answer the obvious questions: Yes, I used my real age, posted a recent photo, and listed myself as married. There, am I back on the "good guy" list again?

Seriously folks, anything we can do to increase the traffic/coverage/exposure of the TexasCHLforum and its message to an audience we normally wouldn't reach is extremely valuable. If our members can help promote the MySpace and FaceBook sites we will reach more people than I can reach alone. The people that frequent MySpace and FaceBook tend to be much younger than the average age of NRA and TSRA members and they tend to respond to Senator Obama's Utopian message. It is imperative that we reach this age group with an accurate message of the importance of the Second Amendment and the everyday utility of defensive handguns.
If you can help promote these sites, please do so. It would also be helpful if you can help link to and/or otherwise promote the TexasCHLblog. I have no doubt that there is a large body of people who will read those sites, but would not take the time or effort to read a discussion board like the TexasCHLforum. Perhaps they will if they get interested in the issue, but we need to reach them through some media. And if you are thinking, as I initially did, that your too old for those sites, or just don't want to get involved with them, please reconsider. We absolutely must reach and recruit younger people into NRA, TSRA and the Second Amendment defense battle in general. If we fail to do so, we quite literally could see the demise of gun rights in a single generation.
Thanks,
Chas.
