Longview Gun show

Post by Sidewayz »

Im thinking about going to the Longview, TX gun show this weekend. It is about a 3 hour drive for me so I was hoping ya'll could give some insight on whether it would worth the drive or not. How does it compare in size and selection to the Dallas Market hall gun show?

Thanks!

It comes nowhere close to the size of the Market Hall show. The biggest vendors that frequent the DFW shows are usually there too. I don't think it's worth the drive.

Do you need any jelly,...how 'bout some beef jerky,....no, how 'bout some knife sharpening wonder rock,....well, I gotta marlin 60 I'll sell ya for $229 out they door...she's mint! "rlol"

O.K. it's not quite that bad, but it is hit or miss. And, it is certainly not a Dallas Market Hall.

Don't forget "Welds Aluminum!", t-shirts, dream catchers, confederate flags, and dog pictures. Plus, the ever-popular combo deal: the tie-dyed t-shirt with a dream catcher, confederate flag, and wolf's head!

"rlol" Thank ya'll for the info! I'll skip that drive and just wait for the Dallas show April 12-13. Unfortunatly I can't make the Ft Worth show end of this month.

gee, you guys are a tough crowd. We kinda like our little gun shows here in the Longview (and Tyler) area, but we just enjoy hanging out with other rednecks in a big room full of guns anyway.

Since it's just a short drive over from Marshall to Longview, I'm going to drop my wife off at the mall to do some clothes shopping Sunday afternoon. Then, I plan to meet a buddy over there just to look around.

Hey...I go to 'em too. But, the Longview show IMHO is just not consistent. Some are good, some aren't. One of the best in the area I've been to has been a Tyler show.
