My application packet was delivered to DPS on 2/27/08 and as of 3/13/08 the status is "Processing Application!"

Lucky dog! My wife's application was received in Austin on Feb 6 and they still say Packet Mailed to Applicant. When I called and emailed about it they said that it would take 4-6 weeks to move to Processing Application!

Dang! That's not fair! DH's completed renewal was in, by Feb8th, and his web listing still says "Packet Mailed to Applicant".

Cool. I was promoted last week too. We should start up a 'rank' system according to our status on the board. Pvt, Applied (online or other), PFC, Packet mailed to applicant, CPL, Processing application, etc 
Theres room for all Gods creatures. Right between the corn and taters!

I was shocked to see it move so quickly. But I should not jinx myself. I won't be happy until the license has been issued and it says "mailed to applicant."
