I'll have to renew again this year, and was looking for something on the west side of Austin. (I'm just south of Lake Travis.) I came across these guys: http://www.austinrfa.com/chl.htm
Has anyone used them for a renewal class?

I have not used them ,but a good buddy took there class 2 months ago and speaks highly of it. I do trust his opinion on all of what he says.

Other than getting the FLU from being stuck in there with a bunch of old sick guys, it was great.

Overall the class was excellent. There was a little misinformation passed about ammo selection, and that sheet rock would stop HP ammo but allow ball to pass right through. Aside from that, I was very happy with the class.
Renewals are handled as a part of the full class. You show up at the beginning, they teach everything a renewal needs in the first half. Go to Eagle Peak and shoot around lunch. If you are renewing, your done. The full class guys go back for the second half of the class.
