Just called and talked to a receptionist who put me on hold and came back to say that all weapons are prohibited.

A sign that says all weapons are prohibited does not prohibit you from carrying. It has to be a compliant 30.06 sign or a 51% sign.

However, by calling, you have now been given verbal notice and that is the same as 30.06. :rules:

They would have no record of the call, the OP probably did not give his name, and I bet the person who answered did not make any sort of record.
If there is no 30.06 posted, but there is a metal detector, show them your CHL and see what happens. Worst case is a trip back to the car, followed by a letter to the manager.

Ok I went last night, there was a NO FIREARMS ALLOWED sign and NO metal detectors. You could have easily carried there.

Now I did talk to some friends and was told that at certian events, they do have metal detectors i.e. the Daddy Yankee concert etc.
