IWB for 1911 w/ spare mag (one unit)

Post by CJATE »

I am really looking for an IWB for my full size 1911, I really want a spare mag incorporated. The only one I can find is hear: the Texas conceal carry about ½ way down
http://www.dmbullardleather.com/1429711.html

But it only has one clip, I really like the makers who have two clips spread out to distribute the weight… Really want a VM-2 but he does not offer such a thing.

So many makers, where should I look?

Email David Bullard and see if he can modify the Texas Conceal Carry to fit your request. I have a 1911 Holster from him and he moved and changed the angle of the clip so it would fit me better. He's quick to reply and works hard to give you what you want. And he offered a full refund if it wasn't delivered as I had requested. You can't beat dealing with a man like him!

Just curious, why do you want to put the holster and mag all together on the same side? If you need to draw your spare mag how are you going to do it? That is, if you draw with R hand and have to pull a mag now you're reaching across yourself somehow...?

I have a VM-II for my 1911 and have a 2 spare mag pouch on weak side. The VM-II is fantastic by the way.

I emailed the guys at CrossBreed Holsters

They currently only have a single, but are going to start producing a double mag holder IWB very soon

Can't wait..I will be the 1st in line for the new produce :hurry:
