Fort Worth teen found on couch with gunshot wound to head

Post by Wildscar »

Ya know when I saw this story first thing this morning all that was mentioned was that an 18 year old was found dead with fathers gun next to her. I first thought to my self that everyone needs to lock them up if you have kids in the house.

After reading this story I have a diffrent opinion. I now firmly belive that if you have a gun in the house then everyone needs to know how to work it. No exceptions. I am going to set a range date tonight when I get home. I have put it off for too long taking my wife to the range.

Fort Worth police were investigating Thursday the death of an 18-year-old who was found seated on a couch in her home with a gunshot wound to her head.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the woman as Noemi Huizar.

Police said the woman’s brother and father found her body about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Harvey Avenue.

Investigators were still trying to determine whether the death as a homicide or suicide. Police said the back door may have been forced open and her cell phone appears to be missing.

A neighbor heard a gunshot and barking dogs, and saw a person cutting in between houses, police said.

They will be able to tell if she has fired a gun lately by testing her hands for powder residue, also one thing i've always said if you are going to pull a gun on somebody you better be prepared to pull the trigger, otherwise you may get shot with your own gun
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

Exactly right. My wife and I will be on a business trip next week. Our 18 year old daughter will be home alone, and not only does she know how to use a .38, she knows that we expect her to have it within reach at all times.
