Bucket or Bag
Re: Bucket or Bag
anything that moves on it's own would be great. especially if it moves fast.
alas, all i could come up with is a tool bag with wheels and a handle like on luggage from lowes. works great as a range bag and i don't have to carry it; it just follows along behind me. that ammo got really heavy!

That’s right!

O.K. you guys don’t make fun of us “East Texans.
I admit…..many of us do not have fancy “range bags, but we manage to get our “stuff to the range... just the same.
We like to think of ourselves as “resourceful.

LT has a “bucket….but at least his things are organized. I will go ahead and “shame myself by showing what I usually tote along.

This is my Deep East Texas “range box (y’all).

And this is the jumbled mess of stuff inside my DETRB:

And if we start to dig down into my DETRB, this is “some of what we’ll find:

This is about the minimum I take along. It doesn’t include the weapons, holsters, first aid kit, or any other task specific items I might need. A range bag just wouldn't work for me.

But Flint, you have an essential item that I don't carry in my range bag; toilet paper!!
All joking aside, you guys get a LOT more stuff into a similar size range box than I do with my bag. Kudos for the ingenuity.

TP is in the truck toolbox. Saves room in the range bag.Keith B wrote:But Flint, you have an essential item that I don't carry in my range bag; toilet paper!!![]()

We have clean & well stocked restrooms at Angelina Rifle & Pistol Club.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

I have a friend from Goliad that uses a carry on suitcase with wheels and collapsible handle.
It works well for him. Maybe he's really from East Texas and doesn't know it.

Sounds plausible.

That looks like a "back up" roll in a plastic bag. Now that is prepared!
