That just goes to show that caliber size does not equal knock down power. Man... a .44 to the head and she only requried stitches.

Don't overlook the fact that the bullet went through a windshield before hitting the woman.

....and she is not dead!

Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people....I don't know why things happen like they do - but, I do trust God in ALL things. She is still alive because God blessed her for whatever reason....

Just ribbing you a little... I didn't mean to offend you.

I respect your view of religion and your god, even though I don't share it. Sorry about that.

Now THAT'S a hard headed woman!!! "rlol"

I think the lamination of the windshield probably had a lot to do with slowing the velocity and the break-up of the bullet. However, the skull is pretty thick at that point, so that helps tremendously too.

She is really lucky, and yes, God was watching out for her.

I have reread the artical and do not see where it specifically stated that the shot went through a windshield or window. I see where her BF rolled his window down at one point but I see no mention of the path of the bullet. Am I misreading the article?

I could be reading too much into it. I was assuming that the shooter was in front of the vehicle of the woman who was shot.

So if you couldn't run from that situation (they were boxing them in)..could you or would you get into a gunfight from your car?

I would have shot thru my own windshield or out my side window if that was the case...they were at a stop light so there was a stable shooting platform

In the video's I got from here Ken Hackathorn and Bill Wilson show how to shoot from inside the vehicle out...I would have fired until the badguy was stopped
