Tomorrow will be one week that I've been carrying my new Ultra Covert II in the CTAC. I just thought I'd post a quick review and pics. I'd been looking for a quality holster for awhile, even before I went with the compact 1911. I read alot of the comments and suggestions on here, and the CTAC seems to be pretty well liked. Now I see why. It's comfortable enough for all day wear, and easy to conceal. Actually, the compact 1911 in the CTAC conceals better than the Glock 30 using the Clip Draw. And, I can tuck my shirts in still. It's now a viable option in the office instead of pocket carrying the P3AT. The only minor complaint I have is the kydex can chafe a little if my under shirt rides up for some reason. I'm thinking about ordering the "mole skin" that Comp-Tac has on their web site to put on the back of the holster. I can see why the MTAC is another good choice. I can imagine the leather is a bit more comfortable against the skin. All in all, I'm very pleased with the holster and the gun. I'm very satisfied with my decision to go to the 1911 platform. I even had lunch with 2 friends of mine who are officers here, and they both said if it weren't for the clips, they wouldn't have even known. And, they wouldn't have know what the clips were had I not told them I got a new holster and were looking for something.

Thanks for all the holster suggestions and info everyone has posted on here. It helped me quite a bit in making my decision. Ya'll carry safe.
