I expect him to resign the Senate soon.

No. I do not wish this on anyone.

I have never agreed with his politics, but I pray for his health unconditionally.

Well said Skiprr. I join you in prayer for the Senators health and strength for his family in the coming days.

I lost my mother to lung cancer....and I would not wish this horrible disease on anyone.

There's a punchline in there, and I'm barely restraining myself already.

I can't think of any kind words to say. I lived half my life in Massachusetts and have seen the lives he has ruined and a once great state reduced to socialism.

My prayers go out to Senator Kennedy and his family. He and the Kennedy family have had more than their share of tragedy. He has spent six terms in office in service of his country, and I personally believe he deserves immense respect for having done such, and for being someone who acts on his beliefs. Whether or not you believe in his political positions he was one of our elected officials, and an American. I can only wish him the best.

:iagree:

I'm sorry for his family. I struggle to find much nice to say about a murdering socialist. He may have served 6 terms, but I would not go so far as to call him an American.

Do the names - Mary Jo Kopechne and Chappaquidic ring any bells? :waiting:

Yes, they do; and it looks like he'll stand before the Judge of All soon enough.

As a kid, long before Jackie and JFK jr died, my mom always said they were cursed or something. Then that rape thing and everything else. I'm not someone to believe in curses, but tragedy follows these people like a shadow. Nearly everyone of them. Eh, God is a conservative.

Not as tragic as Mary Jo Kopechne!

I'll bet his brothers roll over in their graves every time Teddy opens his mouth.

I found a little bit happiness when I first read about his condition. :patriot:
