DUI 0ver 20 years ago...

Post by billfromtx »

My brother got a DUI over 20 years ago when he was in North Carolina...When he does his Texas CHL package what paperwork does he need to add if any. He's not even real sure what year it was in much less what month and day he was actually convicted.
Thanks for the help :tiphat:

To forgive is divine.
Neither of which is Marine Corps policy.

He needs a certified copy of the disposition of the case. At this point, it won't matter whether he was found guilty or not.

It can get expensive if he doesn't know the year. Some counties charge by the year to search.

If the records can't be found, he needs a letter from the clerk of the court stating that he was not convicted of a felony in that period.
