I'm out of the waiting Room!!!! I got my plastic Yesterday when I got home!. My picture looks stupid...I was wearing a hat, my hair stayed like this >> when I took it off. I don't care though...I swear I'm like a kid at Christmas.

Now, on to the no-joke task of carrying responsibly.

To those still waiting, be patient, your time will come. And since you have some time on your hands learn the law, ask for advice, and practice your aim.

Haha, I still haven't figured out exactly what that means, but I'm guessing it is your first time to carry in public, possibly at the local Walmart (aka wallyworld) ????

All I have right now is a full sized PX4 Storm, and I don't even have a holster for that, so it will be a while. I'm hoping to get a Ruger LCP in the next couple of months and that will be my carry gun. I will probably get a holster and belt for the PX4 as some point though, I know lots of people carry them so I'm sure I can figure out how to do it without giving myself away.

Hey Scrap, congrats. I am still waiting on a PIN, I mailed my packet out on Apr 12th so I have a little waiting. WRT to Ruger LCP, I just bought two of them at the Houston gun show. Took one out to the range last Sunday and was impressed by its performance. It packs quite a kick but you figure it must weighing in at a little over 9 ounces. All I can tell you it to hang on to it. My wife liked it but hey, she likes me too
