FFL/shipping rules

I want to ship 2 handguns to the state Washington. Can anyone confirm the process? Recommend a FFL in New Braunfels area?

I've been told several things and seem to have gotten no where. One FFL locally said I could ship to an FFL, then the same shop said no that is only for long guns. Then said handguns have to go FFL to FFL. Any help would be appreciated. Apparently I have to drive to San Marcos to ship UPS, local UPS store said they won't take it.

I don't see anything wrong with shipping to the FFL using USPS. Not sure about FFL laws.

Many, but not all, dealers will accept a handgun shipped from an individual. In that case, it eliminates one FFL.

However, an FFL may ship a handgun to another FFL using USPS. Doing so, shipping costs may well be less than $20.

As a non-licensee, your only shipping options are next day delivery by UPS and Fedex. The cost will be absurd.

If your local transfer dealer charges little, it may be cheaper to ship FFL to FFL via mail.

I just purchased a revolver from a guy in Michigan. It was shipped from the individual to my transfer dealer. UPS Next Day Ait Saver was $61.
