My wife Prea and I took the CCW class on NC in 96 when the ink for the conceal carry laws was still wet and it was 8 hours of misery, not so today. The entire time that you are with them is fun and they made the entire learning process very enjoyable, which greatly enhances knowledge retention. We had been wanting to get our CHLs since we moved here in Jan of 06 and had been looking around for a place to take it but living out in Celina, the local choices are slim and all the registered instructors listed on the DPS site that were anywhere near us were no longer reachable or in existence, the list was very outdated. Well, when I picked up my G27 that I had been wanting to add to my collection for years and as a CCW, I ran into Marty. We talked for a few minutes, I knew right away that he was the guy I had been looking for even if it was over an hour drive from our house out here in the country down to Roanoke and the rest as you can say, is history.
I am in no way affiliated with them and I do hope that I am not overstepping any bounds here, but I really want to give them both a big thumbs up and say thank you again
BTW to anyone interested, we both passed first try with flying colors.
