Join the NRA and the TSRA

Post by flb_78 »

I'm embarrassed to say so, but until yesterday, I was a member of neither one of these fine institutions.

I'm also contemplating joining the Illinois State Rifle Association.

You can donate to the ISRA without joining: https://secure.cnchost.com/isra.org/cat ... 1045732173

It would save them the cost of mailing stuff that you probably wouldn't be interested in anyway.

I am a native of Chicago and spent more than half my life there.

It might be nice/useful if ISRA (or similar) would create "Associate memberships" to whom they do not send the normal benefits and requiring out of state residency or membership in another xSRA.

They could get the money, bump their numbers, and not have any additional costs to receive the donation, er, membership.

I joined the NRA last year and finally joined the TSRA at the Dallas Market Hall Gun Show 2 weeks ago. I signed up for the 3 year membership to start off.
