You know something else I just thought of. If he was on the tollway, they have cameras at the toll booths. They should be able to look at the pics from that time frame and find this guy. He had to cross through a toll booth after pulling this crap. He either has a toll tag...which should also be trackable from when the cars went through the booths registering a charge. He stopped and paid a toll...or he ran through it. If he stopped, they should have him on one of the video surveilance cams they use to monitor the booths.

I am sure they are going though all of that but in the mean time I'll be taking my firearm with me to work. This guy is just sick.

I am actually more worried about my daughter and the guys who work for me than myself. My guys are all out on the roads during the day and early evening. We log a lot of miles around this part of town. I sent text messages to all of them making them aware of this sick piece of crud. My son is due to come into town from Austin on Thursday night. He drives a Honda Civic...black. I wonder how many times he will get pulled over making his way through Dallas to Plano.

Its it not this guys its just going to be something else. You can't let it eayt at you. When you let anger and hatered enter the picture ratinal thought go out the door. I know that area too but I am not about to grab my skull emblazoned body armor, dark cape, yellow spandex, and CHL badge and run around looking for the guy. Unfortunatly that breaking the law and makes you no better then him. Just watch you back and keep and extra eye out. If you see something out of pace report it.

I agree about it MIGHT be a questionable idea to go looking (depending on the actual plan) -- but in what way would it be "breaking the law" to "drive around ...[to] spot the guy"?

Yeah...I hear you....your right. Most of my anger comes from knowing this clown could seriously hurt or kill somebody before the law catches up to him. I don't get why they aren't saying what race he is so we can make the connection when seeing a dark colored ricer with blacked out windows. If it is a white guy, then there is no point in worrying over seeing a black guy or hispanic or asian in a black honda. It at least helps to narrow the field a bit. Like I said, my guys are all over town around that area every day...all day...I have put them all on the lookout for the car and told them to call the police if spotted, but it would be nice to have a better description so we aren't calling cops every time we see a black ricer.

Saying you want to get a guy is not a threat. Especially in the context I posted it. My wording was actually deliberately designed to not say I wanted to bring harm to him. Get him in the context I posted it means to catch him. Just as when you say you want the cops to get a guy...your not saying you want them to harm him.

For instance...if you say your going to go get somebody...doesn't that typically mean..fetch them or bring them somewhere? Yeah...I am good in my wording and there is nothing illegal in helping to find a criminal. Dispensing justice once you find them is definitely a problem.

I understand the way you meant it. I was just pointing out some people might take that route. I want this guy stopped too. if he is arrested i sure hope he gets more than just a slap on the wrist and a promis not to do it any more and we will let you go deal.

Still not illegal -- nothing he said nor implied was likely illegal. Maybe a bit hot headed or frustrated but no illegal.

Were some people to patrol and "get this guy" by calling the police, or even by stopping him during an attack through force that would not be illegal.

Offer caution -- but it's not illegal.

Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star-Telegram are both reporting they caught the suspected lowlife perpetrator. Hopefully they got the guy.

Police Believe 6 Shootings Tied To 'Random Roadway' Gunman

GARLAND (CBS 11 News) ― Garland Police believe a 22-year-old they arrested Tuesday night is responsible for the six random North Texas shootings in three days.

The shootings started Sunday afternoon in Garland and expanded into Mesquite, Richardson and Plano.

According to reports, a Garland Police Officer spotted a black Honda Prelude about a ½ mile from the latest shooting location -- Phao's Ca Doa restaurant -- and stopped the driver, who matched a witness description.

The next hope is that he won't be out on the roads again any time soon. Thank goodness they got him before he actually killed somebody.
