No Range FEES LONE STAR GUN RANGE JULY 5th!!

For those of you who have not been to our range yet but want to give it a try then July 5th may be your greatest opportunity! In honor of our INDEPENDENCE and YOUR freedom and RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS we are allowing everyone to come out and shoot without a registration or day pass fee! BBQ while it lasts and there will be several.....firearms lent out by members of the range for others to shoot as long as you purchase ammo! A buddy of mine told me about your range. I am interested in checking it out as you guys seem to be only about 15 minutes away (i'm in kyle). A no fees day is great news.

My concern is the fees. I would naturally get a year membership for my son and I, but as for my wife and daughter...they would only go once or twice a year. Given that scenario, when they go to the range it might be less expensive elsewhere.

I am not sure where you can go that is less expensive than $12 per day for your wife and $6 per day for your daughter if she is less than 18 years of age??? At any rate we would love to have you come out on July 5th even if that is your only time! Safe shooting.

Any chance of you expanding your range in the future to accomodate USPSA competitions?

The problem I have with competitions is you are forced to CLOSE down a portion or several portions of a range to the event. One of the issues people have had from other ranges is just that. They showed up one day and could not shoot due to a private event or competition. Not just being busy and having to wait no shooting. I am trying to have this range for use of all individuals who wish to come out. I currently only have one range that I will allow to be reserved. This keeps one handgun and our rifle range open. I do allow practice of IDPA and others on one of the ranges with area and safety permitting. Hope this helps. We now have cover on our rifle range! No more sun burns! We will be working on the handgun ranges to have them covered before the 5th of July event.
