Reasonably Priced Ammo in Houston?

Post by Roshi »

I prefer to shop locally but with Walmart saying they are going to video tape gun sales, I don't want to buy plinking ammo there. Any other sources for reasonably priced ammo? It's cheaper for me to by some ammo by mail even with shipping compared to most gun shop prices.

Wallyworld video tapes everything. They got cameras everywhere even in the parking lots. Acadamy has about the same prices for WWB.

Most of the camera bubbles in my local Wal-Mart are empty. Those that do have cameras are mostly interested in watching employees. I don't know if this is the case with all of them, though.

So you're worried about a transaction being recorded?

How are you paying for this ammo? Debit card, personal check or Credit card? ;-)

Check out this thread for ammo in Houston.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in Texas City about once a month. I'll check them out.

I'm not specifically worried about my ammo transaction being documented. I was referring to a recent Walmart decision to tape all firearms transaction and store those tapes for three or more years.

I won't be giving them anymore of my gun related business.
