I found this blog today called Cowtown Cop http://cowtowncop.blogspot.com/. From some of his postings, it appears he's a Detective, and by the name of his blog I assume it's in Ft. Worth.

I especially like the Thwarted Pizza Robbery story, in which he says something fairly memorable (at least, to me) and I thought I'd share:

I suggest that if you can find in your inner self the will to inflict violence on someone who is trying to victimize you, and can back up that iron will with all the force that you can muster, you will most likely be successful.
