no problems. its common.
Re: 3.5 lb. connector in a glock
I replaced the 5 # connector in my 19 with a Ghost 3.5#
Relatively easy to do. You can always go back to the 5# after range testing if you don't like it. The result feels like a 4 # trigger in 1911 pull wise (obviously not as crisp).
There is of course a safety issue. I've shot light trigger 1911's for years and have learned to keep my finger off the trigger until I'm ready to shoot so a light trigger Glock works for me.

I have it in both my Glocks (19 & 36) Also had the action smoothed by T. Graham. The only thing I would say from a saftey standpoint is practice with it before you carry it again after the change. (and I would never carry it without a holster - mexican carry)

Re: 3.5 lb. connector in a glock
I am going from a Kimber with a 3 pound trigger and the 5.5lb on in the 23 is a big change so for safety its not going to be a big change on the pull.
Thanks for all the info
I guess its time to install it and take it to the range this afternoon .

Re: 3.5 lb. connector in a glock
I have a 3.5 lb connector in all but two of my Glocks and I carry most of them. I have one purposely set up with the 5 pound connector so I can keep familiar with the stock feel.
I have never had a problem with it and don't see why anyone would unless they put their finger on the trigger when they are not supposed to.
FWIW, it generally only reduces the weight of the trigger to 4.5 lbs.

Re: 3.5 lb. connector in a glock
Glock's OEM 3.5 lb connector is a welcome addition to the pistol - but trigger pull is still closer to 5 lbs than the "3.5" the connector is rated at. Function is perfect.
I've heard "some" aftermarket connectors don't work well, but that's not a concern with Glock's OEM version.

Re: 3.5 lb. connector in a glock
All of my Glocks have trigger work.
My G29 has a Ghost Ultimate trigger kit which includes a drop in 3.5# highly polished connector, heavier trigger spring and heavier striker spring. It's smooth and linear all the way through the pull. Reset is about the same as a factory connector both in length and positive feel.
With my G21SF I have the Ghost Rocket 3.5# connector which requires fitting, a factory weight striker spring and heavier trigger spring. This trigger feels the best out of all of my Glock triggers. Overtravel is virtually non existent and reset is short and very crisp. I would carry this gun with no problems. It gets even better with a reduced power striker spring but I experienced some light primer strikes with 10mm ammo so I went back to factory weight. (I have a 10mm slide and barrel for it).
My G19 has the factory Glock 3.5# connector, heavier trigger spring and factory striker spring. I really can't tell a lot of difference between it and the factory setup. It may be slightly lighter pull but I can't tell much.
For the best Glock trigger, you need to go with the connectors that require fitting. If you're not comfortable doing this then the Ultimate trigger kit may be the best for you. It is a drop in kit.
