All of my high capacity Glock mags rattle. My 10 rounder that goes in my G29 does not rattle. :headscratch They all go away as soon as I put it in the gun.

FWIW, all of my Wilson Combat mags for my Ultra Carry rattle too.

I have been noticing another thing with glock magazines, I FINALLY managed to get the 10th round in my magazine and if I put 1 in the chamber + 10 its a REALLY tight fit. I have to make 100% sure its set in place. when its only got 9 rounds in the mag it slides in like butter.

Get you an UpLula loader and that 10th round will be a breeze. But i do agree with it being a tight fit with 10 in the magazine.

It might be a good idea to do the disassembly (and reassembly, until you get familiar with it) inside a plastic bag. If the spring does jump away from you, it can't go far.

Don't ask me how I know this. :banghead:
Well, that's why I like my Ruger's mags. There's the visible baseplate, but under that is another plate that both locks the outer baseplate in place and keeps the spring in the mag when the baseplate's out. Then you push on one side of it to slip the other side out from the rails, and it all comes out, usually with no fuss. Never had a mag spring get away from me.

You'll wonder why you waited so long once you have one. They are awesome.
