Does anyone know of a source where I can find 9MM 115gr. +P+ ammo? Basically the Illinois State Police load. Seems to be scarcer that hen's teeth.

You didn't mention which brand or bullet type so I've got no clue what you are really looking for. Several manufacturers have such a loads available. The first places I'd check are Ammoman.com and Ammunitiontogo.com. After that, I'd say Streichers.com. If it's Corbon brand ammo you are looking for, you can always order it directly from the manufacturer if you can't find it anywhere else.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.

IIRC Illinois State Patrol uses or used the Federal B9PLE 115 gr +P+ load. Ammoman and Cheaper Than Dirt are both out. Ammunition To Go has it in stock. This is a great 9MM load! Close to .357 SIG terminal performance. :thumbs2:

Here's the link. http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/prod ... point-ammo

Yes, at $15 per box, that IS a deal for the +P+. It makes me wonder if an "obsolete" load or something to be that cheap. At gun shows I've paid well over that for Winchester Ranger +P+ stuff.
