I felt sorry for the TV reporters who had to work so hard to pretend it was a real storm.

I saw one trying to prove how dangerous it was by tossing a plastic patio chair in the air, and the camera panned to follow it tumbling down the beach.

It will be an interesting day on live TV when a piece of roofing tin decapitates one of those idjits standing outside during a hurricane.

This was a pretty pitiful storm. We have had worse tropical depressions.

The hardest working bunch of all affected will still be the linemen/utility workers restoring power. That is what the news crews should be folowing.

Nothing like a pitiful storm to make a populace jaded towards the next category 4.

I hadnt listened to the radio or watched tv in several days so i wasnt even aware there was a storm. I went to Sonic and they were closed due to the storm! I was looking around at sunshine going "what storm?" Then we noticed all the gas stations were packed and and thought "oh heck what did I miss?" Went home and checked it out, it was a weak little storm but everybody was panicking like it was Rita returns! What a letdown. We were having conference calls at work on getting ready and lining up generators for cell towers.

Probably not crying wolf as much as covering their back trail in case it did dance like Rita then no one could say they did not know. We got one little tornado out of it. A roof & lots of timber down on 2 church members places.

As it wound up they stayed somewhere else since the storm was a bust. Since you asked, I had thought about using the duct tape on the democrats.
