Well, I finally 'bit the bullet' and joined the NRA. They have a promotion going on right now and have 3 year memberships for $70 and it includes an NRA Duffel Bag. The rep told me that they make special offers available to members to upgrade to life memberships, so I will wait for that and convert it at that point.

Very good! Your post actually reminded me that I needed to get my wife's membership handled, so I signed her up for a legacy life membership at $300.00. Now all three of us are members - me, my wife, and my son.
