Introduction

Post by 44Mag »

Ours is a joint listing for my wife and I
Age: Both 61
Married: with 3 kids and 5 grandkids
Occupation: Retired school administrator and retired nurse
CHL: Me since beginning (I drew 2 yr renewal first goaround) and she has had hers for 4 years
Carry: We both carry 9mm mine is a Smith and hers a Beretta

We travel in our motorhome full time (sold the stick house), with a PO box in Dallas for mail and call Leakey, TX our home base where we have a ranch. Carry in the car and the motorhome all across the country. When we go into Canada we have to rent a storage locker in the states for the guns.

Welcome and thanks for the introduction. My in-laws have a motor home and would love to travel like that. Unforuntately, their health won't allow it. They did go to Canada a few years ago and had to do the same thing with their guns.

Welcome to both of you! Hope the Mrs will register and converse on her own as well. My Hubby has not registered yet either. This is a very informative and helpful group

Welcome Sir & Maam. I also hope the Mrs. will register & let us know when we are getting a ladies experience on the subject. This is a very lady friendly forum. Also the Grandones can stand over your shoulder & read here. Charles really means & enforces the 10 yr old daughter rule. Another thanks for that. See yall in print.

Welcome to you both. We are like an extended family on a family oriented forum thanks to the 10 year old rule.

Look eorward to learning from your experiences, both in firearms and travel.

It's great to see you both here! I certainly encourage your wife to join us independantly, however. We need more of "our kind" on the forums! The fact that she shoots a Beretta says that she has PIZAZZ enough to have her own voice.

Whoa! Sellin' your stick house is quite a step! Many folks our age (well, I'm 59) enjoy RV's, motor homes, or the like. That's GREAT! Be safe in your travels and join us when you can!

Look out! My husband joined but I hijacked his membership. He spends his time on a couple of other forums and this is mine. Now we trade info.

FANTASTIC, PWK! As I remember, I met your husband unit (LOVE that "unit" thing!) on another forum when he (actually son unit?) wanted to buy my Bersa Thunder 9mm?

I love the fact that you "hijacked" his membership! Way to go!

Regardless....I'm certainly glad that you're here! Seems to be a harmless bunch of folks. ;-)
