I had first mentioned Agape on the thread for "Baxter" but, I wanted to make a thread for her. She is very sick. I took her back to the Vet this afternoon and they took a lot of test to try and find out what is causing the infection, it is continually spreading and she has had two weeks of antibiotics already. They don't know what the problem is, but will let me know something Wednesday. That is when they should get the results from the test back. I took her name from the Bible, Agape is the Greek word for God's unconditional love, and she certainly lives up to her name.
Please pray for her.

I will certainly pray for her! She is a beautiful dog.....
It is amazing at how we get attached to our pets. I lost my "girl" a couple of years ago and it was tough!.....
“If you try to shoot me, I will have to shoot you back, and I promise you I won’t miss!”
I understand. My wife and I just lost our 10 year old cat 2 weeks ago. It was a terrible experience, and one I would not wish on anyone. I hope that Agape improves.
Thank ya'll so very much for your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your kind words I know indeed that you do understand. It is hard. Very hard.
It has just been the two of us for the past six years and you may be surprised at just how close you can become to one another under those circumstances.
Please remember us in your prayers.
Thank you, and God Bless You!

I've been praying for Agape since you posted.
My stomach gets in knots when Baxter starts to show symptoms, and can't settle down until I feel that he's better. I know what you're going through.
I will keep praying for your little girl. Please keep us posted.

Thank You all so much for your prayers, I appreciate them so very much. I had to take Agape into the Emergency Vet just a little while ago and they are going to keep her in the hospital, it sure was hard to walk out and leave her there. She was running a very high fever. They were going to start an IV and some more test... still do not know what is causing the infection and why nothing will stop it. Hopefully I will know more tomorrow.
I know you do know what I am going through, venus, I am still praying for Baxter, also.
Thank you for praying for my little girl.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you an update on Agape, she is still in the hospital and they say they need to keep her there until at least next Monday (8/25). They said that she was stable and they are still feeding her with an IV and several other prescriptions. We still do not know what it is that is attacking her little body. They took another biopsy today and sent it off to be analyzed, hoping to find out what it is. They can not do anything to stop it until they find out what it is.
I just want to thank you each and everyone for your prayers for Agape and me...thank you.
God Bless You!

We'll keep praying. I hope your schedule is such that you can go by an see her each day...so She knows you are still the picture and that her current housing is temporary.
She's been on my prayer list you mentioned her in Baxter's Topic.
I'll be looking forward to a favorable update on Monday.
