Front Sight Training Institute

Post by Chemist45 »

I'm thinking about taking the 4 day defensive handgun training session at Front Sight.

Has anyone done this? Do you think it was worth the money?

I usually go during the winter. They will try to sell you a membership. I think you can still buy certificates on ebay below the actual value of what they are charging. It's worth the trip for me each time.

The training is worth it if you get one of the certs.

I do not think it is worth the price of membership, or full price.

I attended Front Sight in May... and thought the training was good. It WASN'T a run/shoot/cover/dive/roll training class, but was a good foundation for defensive shooting.

You can get a certificate for your first visit off of Ebay for less than a C-note...

I went with Kinny a couple of years ago. I had a great experience and would love to go back someday. Their seminars are top notch.

It is COLD there, but why would you not want to shoot on this range? It is really beautiful in the winter.

Yes, 3 times :clapping:

Yes, it's worth it.

I'm a Diamond member. I think it's some of the best training around.

I try and go once or twice a year if possible.

See links off my home page for pics of my experience with my wife and some videos.

I want to go to Thunder Ranch some day. Clint Smith is the man!

How do you find the Front Sight certificates on eBay seeing as how anti gun they are?

They USED to be on eBAY, but most likely you won't find any there. HOWEVER, I probably know where you can get some ;-)

$350 is still a bargain in my opinion for the 4 Day Defensive Handgun class which regularly is priced at $2000+ :patriot:
