NRA Membership for Disabled Vets

Post by tbranch »

For any of you who have a service connected disability, the NRA offers a Distinguished Life Membership for $375. I contacted the NRA to see what they needed to support the disability claim and was told it is all done on the honor system. Somehow you have to appreciate that.

I wish they would extend the courtesy to Purple Heart Vets. Just wishful thinking I suppose. :patriot:

Seems reasonable to me. Give the membership department a call and see what they can do...

Cody, Thanks for your service bud :patriot: I also appreciate this post as I'm 100% by the VA. I think I will invest in a life membership :tiphat:

As a Purple Heart recipient you should be able to be rated 0% but be service connected for your injury, right? I was rated at 0% on an injury and was service connected as a result. Just happens I had other injuries that increased my rating as well.
