I just got these Esmerelda grips (Rosewood Picazzo) in and am not sure I like them on this pistol. Think they might look better on an all black commander or polished stainless (Beveled edge limits my choices). Opinions? My 12 year old said they looked tacky but what do girls know! (JK) Spent too much to toss them so might put on another gun. I had some black thinline Alumagrips on it before but wanted a wood look instead. I like the Desert Ironwood but it is way out there in price where I could find it online. Grip screws dont match, I was just test fitting.
I like them! But, I think they'd look better on an all blue or all SS pistol. What does the other side look like, same pattern?
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
Looks better with the black grips. The silver slide with thgrain of the wood keep your eyes jumping between the two. With the black grips, the silver slide dominates. Find a nice solid finish pistol for those beautiful wood grips.
Thats what I thought, would look better on my black RIA Commander. Other side looks pretty much the same. The grips are a little brighter in person but it just accentuates what SCone said even more. Guess the Alumagrips are going back on. Thanks.
I like them on on your Kimber. I like the way the darkwood grain at the top appears to come right out of the black frame and then seems to fan out and lighten.
However, I am a girl so what do I know.

I suggest using the grips that best correspond to how you feel about the gun.

Was just pickin'. Kinda a joke since girls know fashion and appearances better than men.
I like the Esmerelda grips on the K. I have a PRO CDP think they would look good there but I have never had that kind of money. Her grips look good on anthing. Wear them on the Kimber.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.

Grumbly icon threw me off. When i first took the GF out to shoot I told her to pick a gun, she is kinda petite so i figured she would grab a .22 or a 9mm. No, she grabs a Desert Eagle in .50 and shot it all afternoon. Grown men have trouble with that thing. Y'all are scary sometimes.
