We all have our favorites. I have several guns, all of different manufacturers. My favorite is a Kimber. I shoot mostly with my son. His favorite is a Glock 26. He shoots as well as I do and his gun is just as reliable as mine. We have a great time shooting. We sometimes make fun of each other’s preference in guns, but just in jest.

Bingo.

My son and I went to the range together this past Saturday, and we shot two 1911s (Kimber & Taurus), the H&K USP, and a 642 Airweight, and we had a ball. Unfortunately, he made more fun of me than I did of him, because, frankly, he's a superb shot with young eyes, and I'm an decent shot with aging eyes.

I'm thinking about a Glock for my wife, but only if she wants one. I'll let her pick what she likes, because I've been married long enough to know better. :smilelol5:

I've been trying like heck to get my wife interested in ANY gun. She seems interested in the new pink sig mosquito from buds. If that is what she wants to start with, I'll do it! Cheap ammo anyway. Note that I did manage to get her to fire my MKIII on some family property recently, and I really enjoyed seeing her shoot anything.

lawrnk,

You will have to introduce her to the S&W M&P 9mm. If they ever get the Julie Golaski version out it will have a pink grip panel!
