I picked up a Ruger Race Rifle. It was a little more than the typical ones and you could get a 10/22T (target model). They've got the heavy barrels and I get consistent 1/4" or less groups at 50yds with mine. I put on a cheap walmart scope (Simmons 3-9x50) and it works well. At 100yds I get a 6" drop out of the standard velocity stuff and about half that with the high velocity rounds. Very accurate and fun to shoot. FWIW, I haven't had a jam in it yet with about 500 rounds so far.
