Just looking for some minor work - re-blue, duracoat, some work on my Beretta 21a, etc.

McBride's on N. Lamar has gunsmiths. I don't know how good they really are, but they are reasonable and did well on two simple jobs for me. I had them put a shoulder pad on my 12 gauge and a night sight on the XD40sc. I am happy with both, especially since the new front sight did not change my point of aim. As far as what you want to have done, you can call and see if they do what you want and how much they charge.
