Chroming on small external 1911 parts

Post by k6gixx »

I want to chrome the barrel bushing, plug, mag release, and safety on my black 1911. Any suggestions of companies, people or ideas on this? :tiphat:

If this is not what you are looking for, contact them and they can probably point you in the right direction.

I'd have said Virgil Tripp but, I think they've to abandon refinishing completely to concentrate on their excellent magazines. I can however offer a personal endorsement of Accurate Plating and Weaponry. I had a Kimber done by Accurate Plating several years ago. Highly recommended...http://www.apwcogan.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Another option is the original "Metaloy" shop. I'm not sure anyone knows more about hard chrome than those guys...http://www.originalmetaloy.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.
