Range Report H&K P30

Post by KaiserB »

I picked up an HK P30 as a birthday present the other day. I shot it at several distances, 3 Yds, 7 Yds, and 10 Yds; It works fairly well. The P30 is a little smaller than what I am used to, dimensionally it is very close to the P2000 in size and shape. The P30 has decent accuracy, and with some adjusting on my part I am sure it will perform much better.

Some plinking at 7 Yds with one flyer... I called the flyer my warning shot

Ah... You are pushing me to post my targets! I shoot at 15 yards only. I am working on "loving" my P30. I am trying to get used to engaging the trigger with respect :
My Accuracy is now 80% at 15 yards. I am working to be at 90%+. I only put 250 rds through the pipe. A lot to learn while having fun.

Targets Pic coming soon.

I had to clean up the trigger a bit on mine as it was "military grade" rough out of the box. A little cleaning, polishing (but no filing, stoning or grinding) and a tweak to the trigger return spring by 10 degrees made the SA shooting bearable.
