Can anyone reccomend a good gunsmith in the DFW area?

Post by remutik »

I have a Browning BDM that needs some repair work done on the trigger. Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in the DFW area? Preferably on the Ft. Worth side, but I'm in both Dallas and Ft. Worth regularly.

I have always used the gun smith at Ray's Hardware & Sporting Goods. He has always been very upfront and honest with me on all repairs and I think he is very reasonably priced. I have never had any major work done there but have heard good things from others who have. When you go into the shop you walk over to the left and go up the stairs.

I'll second that. Todd did the trigger on my Remington 700 VSF .308. It is a very crisp 3 lbs now. He's also installed a couple of ambi-safeties on 1911s of mine. Plus, he's a nice guy. I really like that shop.
