Seeing that would have converted me to a dumpster diver for sure.

Doing that to Colt 1911's ought to be a crime

If its the same GI issue they had when I served, Its about time they got something more modern, reliable and field servicable. I bet the soldiers won't miss them at all.Paladin wrote:Doing that to Colt 1911's ought to be a crime

That was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen...and I wish I had not ever looked.
If that don't make you sick...nothing will.

What are you guy's talking about, those guns look like junk, cheaply made junk. Firearms that come like that SHOULD be destroyed. Those so called "1911's" looked like CRAP.

They are Colt GI issue 1911 The real deal, Pure junk to any of is who had to train with them or clean and field strip them. The even made the M16 look good! It brought a smile to face to see them get their just rewards.Furyataurus wrote:What are you guy's talking about, those guns look like junk, cheaply made junk. FWIW, my old 1943 Ithaca 1911-A1 has a better trigger than my 2007 H&K, and it shoots no worse than the H&K as well.

Re: H&K Makes a Deal with the Devil...
And anyone who likes the Mak's and the Tokarev's would pay $300 each for them here.
It's a shame H&K didn't import them or sell them to an importer.
It's not like a Makarov or Tokarev would keep someone from buying an H&K.
However, If I were now considering buying an H&K, I would send these pictures to them as a reason why I will never own an H&K.

I've been to some funerals that after hearing the eulogy, I thought they were talking about the wrong person. I get the same feeling when folks start talking about 1911s 30 years later. It can''t be the same gun can it?
