Eye Protection

Post by Piney »

Greetings--

Anyone have a source for those little side "thingies" that go on glasses ?

When shooting steel or around those who are, I'd like to wear a set, attached on the side of my prescription glasses.

Any company that sells industrial safety supplies. There are different styles.

Make sure that any safety glasses and side shields that you wear while shooting meet ANSI Z87.1. There are some safety glasses and side shields that are meant for keeping blood borne pathogens out of your eyes, but they may not be impact resistant. Your eyeballs will thank you.

Also if you are buying shooting glasses at a "gun show" most of those are NOT rated and are Chinese junk. Don't trust the vendor, trust the Z87.1 Stamp which will be on the lens or frame.
