when the tc opened in georgetown last year they had the non compliant 30.06 signs in three places inside. i usually ignore those signs and go on in.
my wife and i went there sunday for lunch and i looked around and found the 30.06's gone and one sign showing; the "no unlicensed weapons" sign. i take this as a sign of progress as i know the manager was put on notice that he was losing business by excluding law abiding gun toters such as myself.

FYI, the Taco Cabana in South Austin, on S IH35 @ Stassney, has the same, just the "unlicensed possession" sign, however if you see my other post right below this one, it seems not all TCs are the same.

Being a Georgetown resident, that's good to hear. Although I don't often go to Taco Cabana (or other chain restaurants). I get my weekly Tex-Mex fix at La Margarita just up the road in Round Rock. Homemade tortillas, terrific fajitas. My kids (2.5 and 5) call it "the queso store".

Actually, it sounds like somebody may have reported the lack of a "blue" sign to the TABC.
