Conroe gun show, Nov. 8-9

Post by Sidewayz »

Just wondering how the Conroe Gun show compares to Dallas or Ft. Worth shows.

Thanks for any info!

It is a very nice show. There is always a good selection of new and used guns. You can do a good window shopping tour in about 1-2 hours. I prefer to go to this one instead of the really big shows in Houston because it is small enough to see everything in an afternoon and big enough to have a good selection.

The Conroe show is attractive to me because all of the other shows are either REAL or High Caliber. The Conroe show is the only Saxet show within reasonable driving distance from Houston. After a while, I think I know the dealers' inventories better than they do.

The Conroe show presents fresh (to me) dealers and inventory. It is still a smaller show than the High Caliber George R. Brown shows. Sorry, I can't compare to DFW shows.

I wanted to try one of the Saxet shows. That's about the closest one to me here north of DFW. Im just trying to decide whether to take the 3 hour drive or not.

Thanks for the input! :patriot:
