Cheap (as in cost) 9mm ammo in Dallas area?

Post by brianko »

Where are the places to go to find cheap (as in cost, not quality) 9mm FMJ ammo? I think it's time to start contributing to my ammo retirement cache again.

Academy. Their aluminum cased 9mm is usually the cheapest factory ammo you can get, though I have not bought any in a while.

Not taking this off topic, but how about low cost .223 that is not WOLF or RUSSIAN ammo.

Are you talking about Blazer (black box)? Academy had it for $9.99/box. No problems with aluminum-cased ammo? Having never shot this before, I guess it's time to visit the range and try it out.

Dicks Sporting Goods has the 9mm Remington UMC on sale for only $7.98 per box when you purchase 10 or more. That is probably the cheapest you will find 9mm locally.

I buy the Blazer 9mm aluminum cased stuff and it shoots fine for me.

I buy it online from Natchez Shooters Supply and have it shipped to my house. It's 7.49 a box right now.

1000rds shipped to me is $170.17 which would be $8.5085 per box.

Ya sure that is not Blaser Brass? But, either way, I'd call first. One of our members said the Flower Mound store did not have any even when the flyer had just came out.

Pretty sure it's not Blazer, since I just bought some. Remington UMC brass cased for 7.98 for 50.
