Celente Predicts Revolution, Food Riots...by 2012

The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.
I'm curious, with as 'often' as this guy has been right, how often he has been wrong.

Make enough predictions, and eventually you'll be right.
Original CHL: 2000: 56 day turnaround
1st renewal, 2004: 34 days
2nd renewal, 2008: 81 days
3rd renewal, 2013: 12 days

Our Ford dealership shut down today and one of the four local banks closed this past Wednesday. :banghead:

Y'all own your homes, trucks, boats, etc. and credit cards? You might want to think :headscratch about it. It's probably gonna' 'git' worse before it gets better. Got any kids?

Infowars? No thanks. I am somewhat concerned that Peter Schiff(Ron Paul advisor, President of Euro Pacific Capital) is right about our current financial situation.

He has a call in talk show format type thing once a week. Heres a youtube playlist of this week if you are interested. Link.
It can happen here.

I hate to be a negative nelly, but...

How ironic is it that when people over-borrow, and can't pay back loans, the government borrows more money to fix the situation, but people are now saying that our government won't ever be able to pay back those loans?

If you question me on this, when was the last time the national debt decreased? Spread out, we owe $400k per person, while the median income is only about $40k per year.

If you look at the big picture, we are in serious trouble. With our society more and more dependent on big government, what happens when it is bankrupt? I happen to believe: not good things!

I believe this guy is just smart and independent enough to see the truth.

By the way, the only reason I see this as related to guns is that it would be a good idea to have one to defend yourself in a riot! ;-)

edited for horrendous grammar.

If he's right, now could be a good time to take on fixed rate debt to buy guns, trade goods and food for long term storage. If I lock in today's low interest rates and expect high inflation under Obama, that could mean I pay back less money than I borrow (in real dollars) and have food on the table and the means to keep it.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
