LCP Finger Extensions

Post by kalipsocs »

Just wanted to let everyone know that has a LCP and is hot to trot on the new finger extensions, Ruger just recently added just the finger extension for sale versus having to buy all new magazines to get it. Its $8 for one extension or $10 for 2 (hmmmm thats a tough on to figure out! :banghead: ) and $5.50 for shipping. Not bad considering knock offs were $10 for 2. I will pay the extra to have something made from the manufacturer. We will see if these can tame the beast some....the LCP always wants to jump out of my hand!

I wonder if those would work on the magazine for a P3AT?

There are plenty on Gun Broker and other outlets that sell the generic extensions that will fit both the P3AT as well as the LCP. My concern with both firearms is fit and finish as well as reliability. The last thing you want to have is that base plate come loose in a time of need. But just do a google search and you while find plenty. Hope that helps

i seem to recall that in the early days of the P3AT, folks were buying Bersa extensions.

oops!

As plastic parts are easy to make more of, I'm sure they'll have more soon.

They certainly did go fast!

I got mine today. They look and feel great. I did a little dry fire practice and found that my grip is more steady with the finger extension. I actually get two fingers in the grip now, instead of the 1 1/2 that I had before. I've noticed that because of the improved grip, I'm not tipping the muzzle down just before the trigger breaks, as I was prone to do before as my index finger works its way to the end of the long trigger pull.

I'm excited to get it out to the range and see how my accuracy is affected. :fire

Here are some pics:

Here you can see that my I can get two fingers on the grip - barely.

Here you can see how tiny it is in my hands.

I think the finger extension make the lines of the gun more appealing.

Anyone else get theirs yet?
