Don't forget Texas native Eva Longoria, who has openly spoken of loving to shoot, and having grown up being taught how by her father.

I think the point about using "comfortable" celebrities is a good one. Tom Selleck is already widely known --and thus easily dismissed-- as a conservative, Republican, NRA member. The "I'm the NRA" campaign was a great idea, but woefully narrow; I think more of those ads appeared in NRA publications and gun magazines than in mainstream publications.

Appealing to women is vital. I'm very happy about the progress that's been made on that front in recent years. Most of it has been by gun makers; other 2A advocates could take a lesson there.
