wow...The 25-year-old Bakersfield man suffered gunshot injuries to the groin Thursday evening, according to Bakersfield police.
A report of shots fired at 19th and Eye streets came in to police and responding officers found evidence that a shooting had in fact taken place. A call came in soon after from San Joaquin Hospital reporting a gunshot victim, police said.
Hasley was uncooperative when officers tried to interview him, police said. He may have been putting a gun in his waistband when it went off.

I have carried in a large inside jacket pocket before, but being outside of a proper holster with a trigger guard around the trigger guard it did not have one in the chamber.

To veer off topic, a friend asked what I wanted for xmas, I replied "a red ryder bb gun with a compass on the stock". I think I'm gonna get it too, lol.flb_78 wrote:You'll shoot your, ummm.... eye out!!!

But seriously, other than the fact that most "unsavory" types tend to keep their not-so-legal guns unholstered at 12, I'd much rather veer away from that mode of carry, lest I get made by an over-paranoid store owner (reference to another thread).

I still have the same one I had as a kid. It is 30+ years old. Hey you talk about a rugged firearm. It has never been cleaned and shoots like it did the day I got it! about 350fps :)atxgun wrote:To veer off topic, a friend asked what I wanted for xmas, I replied "a red ryder bb gun with a compass on the stock".
