Sec. 204 - Federal Arsenal Liscense

a) Offense.--Section 922 of title 18, United States Code, as amended by section 203(a), is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:

"(x) It shall be unlawful for a person to possess more than 20 firearms or more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition unless the person--

"(1) is a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer; or

"(2) has been issued an arsenal license pursuant to section 923(m).".

Here is the Thomas record of S.1878

This is how the anti's have attempted to define "arsenal" in the past.

Can someone more knowledgeable about this please tell me this is in no way in effect now?

No. This clause was amended out of existence.

I'm sure the NRA had something to do with it.

By that definition, any Walmart or gun store could be considered an arsenal. Typical lefty thinking. If its scary, lets outlaw it, or better yet tax it. :banghead:

Senate Bill S.1878, and it's house mirror bill H.R. 3932 died in committee. The sponsors and co-sponsors of these bills should interest you:

Rep. Charles Schumer

Senators Barbara Boxer, John Chafee, Frank Lautenberg and Teddy Kennedy all had a hand in these bils.

The outcry from their constituents was so... Oh, wait... these folks are still in office today.

Great Point, sir.

I keep reading where lord BO, his lefty socialists, and the stinking RINOs will cower in fear at the thought of being thrown from office if they attempt any anti-2A legidlation. I doubt they are cowering. The shivers you see are them excited at the thought of confiscating your arsenal, be it one firearm or hundreds.
